[Usage Example] Nozzle Filling Process Measures Against Liquid Dripping and Climbing

Improved stringing at the nozzle tip with coating treatment. Reduced the frequency of defective products.

The nozzle used in processes such as filling has been causing liquid to drip from its tip, which has become a problem as it contaminates other products or processes. Additionally, to prevent the occurrence of defective products, the equipment's operating rate has deteriorated, and production speed has slowed down, which are also issues. In this case study, we introduce an example of improving dripping, climbing, and stringing, which are causes of defective products, through a water- and oil-repellent coating on the nozzle tip. Please take a moment to read it. [Contents] 1. Liquid dripping from the nozzle tip leads to the occurrence of defective products, and climbing also occurs. 2. Coating treatment improves stringing and reduces the frequency of defective product occurrences. 3. Flow of transactions.

Water-repellent and oil-repellent (stain-resistant) coating

Film formation on glass and plastic substrates (PC, olefin-based resins, PMMA, etc.) is possible!

The "Water-repellent and Oil-repellent (Anti-soiling) Coating" is a technology that coats the substrate surface by evaporating fluorine-based compounds through vacuum deposition. Fluorine-based compounds have low surface tension, achieving water-repellent and oil-repellent (anti-soiling) properties. It is possible to form a film on glass and plastic substrates (such as PC, olefin-based resins, PMMA, etc.), providing excellent anti-soiling and scratch prevention functions for anti-reflective and mirror films. 【Features】 ■ Water-repellent and Oil-repellent (Anti-soiling) properties ■ Excellent anti-soiling and scratch prevention functions *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Video Explanation] Shortening Cleaning Time and Improving Residue Removal | Egg Ease of Peeling

A must-see for those using eggs in production! With coating, you can also enhance your factory.

Are you worried about "leftover food residue," or about how "once the ingredients dry, they become difficult to remove," or do you want to "shorten cleaning time" and "reduce loss and contamination risks due to adhesion"? In this column, we are sharing a video comparing "egg adhesion suppression and ease of peeling after drying" between stainless steel and stainless steel coated with JC. You can see how adhesion occurs and how easy it is to peel off after drying, so please take a look. 【Related Videos】 ■ Comparison of slip characteristics of water, egg, and flour mixture ■ Comparison of slip characteristics of milk *You can view the detailed content of the column through the related links. Presentation of Case Studies: Water and Oil Repellent, Adhesion Preventive Coating Different from Fluororesin-Based

I don't want to have adhesion, but I'm worried about various coatings... This is a case study for those in that situation!

The original surface treatment (coating) "JC Coat" was born from the surface treatment technology cultivated in electronic component manufacturing. Based on DLC coating*, it is a contract coating that incorporates various characteristics through our unique technology, and is used in printing masks, food manufacturing equipment, and industrial machinery. *DLC coating... stands for diamond-like carbon. By processing JC Coat P on parts of manufacturing lines in food factories and industrial plants, we provide anti-fouling and water and oil repellency, which leads to reduced cleaning and maintenance time, prevention of work-related accidents, and reduced waste. A significant feature is that, due to the structure of the coating, it is difficult for it to peel off in chunks. Here, you can download a collection of case studies summarizing the applications of JC Coat P. 【Features】 ■ No need for redesign considering the coating due to its thin film ■ Strong adhesion to the substrate makes it difficult to peel off, eliminating concerns about foreign matter contamination ■ Has a hardness approximately 4-5 times that of stainless steel ■ Complies with domestic regulations for food contact materials in Japan

[Semiconductor Industry Case Study] Adhesion Fixture Resist Liquid Adhesion Prevention 'Nano Process'

A circuit board that challenges "thinness." Achieving both strict quality maintenance and production efficiency! We will introduce examples of coating to prevent resist liquid adhesion to suction transport jigs.

Here is an example of surface treatment for device components that apply resist liquid to precision substrates. ■Consultation In the process of applying resist liquid to a film-like thin substrate, there was a consultation regarding the resist liquid adhering to the suction fixture during the application process to the precision substrate. ■Concern In the process of applying resist liquid to a film-like thin substrate, a problem arose where the resist liquid adhered to the suction fixture, causing the resist liquid from the fixture to stick to the substrate being transported next. The adhesion of resist liquid to the substrate leads to product defects, necessitating an increase in the cleaning frequency of the transport fixture, which in turn hindered productivity. ■Request To solve the problem, we initially tried prototyping with Teflon™ coating, but the slight surface irregularities of the coating transferred as patterns onto the thin substrate, resulting in product defects. A surface treatment that balances precision and prevents the adhesion of resist liquid was necessary for problem resolution. 【Issues to be resolved】 - Adhesion of resist liquid - Cleaning time - Variability in coating thickness ■Adopted Coating 'NanoProcess® TC-10' *For detailed solutions, please download the PDF or contact us.

For those who want to enhance the release properties and fine shape conformity of nanoimprint molds.

Enhancing the release properties and improving the conformity to fine shapes for nanoimprint molds! Sample tests can be brought in.

The organic nano-thin film treatment technology "NANOS" can apply functional films that enhance water repellency, oil repellency, stain resistance (fingerprint resistance), and slip properties (dynamic friction coefficient) to metal and glass substrates such as stainless steel (SUS) and nickel (Ni) through spray treatment and vacuum deposition using a special fluoropolymer. The maximum temperature of the entire process is 80°C, resulting in minimal thermal impact on the substrate, and since it is colorless and transparent, it has little effect on optical properties. 【Examples of Use】 ■ Target: Molds for nanoimprinting ■ Purpose: Improve release properties and enhance conformity to fine shapes 【Features】 ○ Excellent water and oil repellency Pure water: over 110°; n-hexadecane: over 68° ○ Control of thin film thickness Spray treatment: 5–10nm (can be controlled in increments of 1nm) Vacuum deposition: 5–45nm (can be controlled in increments of 5nm) ○ Minimal impact on optical properties (colorless and transparent) ○ Low-temperature process Our surface treatment methods include both deposition and spray methods. You can specify the treatment method or leave it to us. Please feel free to consult with us! (Sales of the main machinery are subject to consultation)
